ANNETTE FORBES OAM

We all know Annette, a stalwart of the Ladies competition for many years, a fierce competitor for the Woodside Bowling Club, and a highly regarded member of the HBA bowling community.

Annette is “bold” … she speaks her mind … but we all love her.

So it is with much pleasure that the HBA congratulate her on the recent honor bestowed upon her – having been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her service to the community.

Annette has been recognized for her commitment to the local community in the areas of sport (lawn bowls and netball) along with over 50 years of service to Meals on Wheels.
