FIRST WEEK OF FINALS

Congratulations to all clubs who have successfully won their way through to finals.

Thursday Ladies still have one more minor round of competition left – but finals sides and venues have now been set for the first week of Wednesday and Saturday pennants.

This coming Wednesday (6th March), Woodside Club will be hosting Lobethal vs Uraidla in Division I, and Lobethal vs Oakbank #1 in Division II – both being qualifying finals, with the loser in each match getting a second chance. The Gumeracha Club will be hosting Mt. Barker vs Hahndorf in Division I, and Lenswood vs Mt. Barker in Division II – both being knockout finals.

On Saturday 9th March, matches have been scheduled as follows:

Oakbank Club – Lobethal vs Hahndorf (Div I), Mt. Barker #1 vs Lobethal #1 (Div III Gold), and Lobethal #2 vs Mt. Barker #2 (Div III Silver).

Lobethal Club – Uraidla vs Woodside (Div I), Lobethal #1 vs Lobethal #2 (Div II), and Meadows #1 vs Hahndorf (Div III Gold).

Mt. Barker Club – Uraidla #1 vs Lenswood (Div II), and Meadows #2 vs Lenswood (Div III Silver).

Each host club is to provide an experienced umpire for the matches – and whilst there will be no afternoon tea, the mandatory break will still apply.

All fixtures have been entered on Bowlslink under the heading “FINALS SERIES” in each division – and results are to be entered online as usual.
