OPEN FORUM 2021
As a consequence of a number of Notices of Motion having been held over from the September AGM, and many bowlers and clubs expressing dissatisfaction with the current pennant structure – it has been agreed to convene a discussion meeting or forum.
This Open Forum will be held at the Oakbank Bowling Club on Monday 15th February 2021 at 7.30pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to enable clubs to openly discuss the outstanding motions, and various proposals that have been put forward to vary the current format and structure of bowls in the HBA.
This is NOT a delegates meeting, and no formal votes will be conducted. However a show of hands may be called to ascertain the general consensus about the various issues.
It had not initially been intended to restrict attendance – but given Covid capacity restrictions, it would be appreciated if no more than three members of each club could attend.
The draft Agenda should be read in conjunction with the minutes of the HBA Executive Committee meeting held on 14.12.20, the various motions submitted prior to the AGM, and the various explanatory notes provided by the clubs.

If any clubs have any other issues that they would like to have addressed, please have your club secretary contact the HBA so that an updated agenda can be distributed prior to the forum.
