SHIELD EVENTS AND HBA CHAMPIONSHIPS.
The annual Harrison Shield will be hosted by last year’s winners at the Oakbank Bowling Club on Sunday 29th November 2020 at 9.30am.
Each club in the HBA is required to enter a team of four bowlers (any gender) – who will play in a cosmopolitan format tournament – fours, pairs and split lunch sitting, concluding with fours. The winner of the event earns the right to host the event next season.
Any club presenting a team or players with special dietary requirements should contact the Oakbank Club prior to the event.
The Schroeder Shield will be held on Sunday 20th December 2020 at 9.30am at the Lameroo Bowling Club. We require 32 male players to compete against sides from Lower Murray and Southern Mallee Associations. The event is a pathway to selection in the Nolan Walker Shield (held against Southern Region on 3rd January 2021), as well as Country Round Robin and Prestige Medley.
The Talunga Shield will be held at Hahndorf Bowling Club on the same date – Sunday 20th December 2021 at 12.30pm. We require 28 players (any gender) to compete against teams from Lower Murray Association. Any club player can nominate, provided that they do not play in a Saturday Division I side.
