Heath Raymond – 17.10.66 – 29.7.23.

The Hills Bowling Association is saddened to learn of the recent passing of esteemed member Heath Raymond.

Following a successful bowling career in the Metropolitan Association, Heath spent the latter part of his time in the Hills, initially with Meadows, and later with Mt. Barker. Heather was a fierce competitor but amicable comrade on the green – and away from bowls was regarded as a considered and articulate person, passionate about photography.

By its very nature lawn bowls attracts an older demographic, and all too frequently we are mourning a loss from within our ranks – but we are more often celebrating the life of an octogenarian. To lose a husband, father, brother, uncle and friend at only 56 years of age is hard to take. We take consolation in the knowledge that Heath bravely battled his health difficulties, and has now been relieved of the pain.

We express our condolences to Heath’s family and friends.
