VALE VIC WILLSMORE

It is with great sadness that I advise the HBA community of the recent passing of esteemed member, Victor Claude Willsmore.

Vic was a long standing and much loved member of the Uraidla Bowling Club – known to all as a kind and quietly spoken man, who enjoyed the camaraderie of the bowling fraternity.

He was part of a senior group of statesmen at the club, having great success in recent times partnering with Graham Wasley, Warren Murdoch, and Gordon Badenoch for pennant fours.

Vic passed away peacefully on 23rd June 2023, leaving wife Fay, son and daughter-in-law Dene and Dianne, along with beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to Fay, Dene, and extended family.

A memorial service to celebrate Vic’s life will be held at the Uraidla Bowling Club on Friday 7th July 2023 at 3.00pm – all are encouraged to commemorate a wonderful 92 years.
