CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES 2024

The final discipline in the Association Championships will commence this Friday night (1st March) when Mt. Barker host the Champ of Champ singles.

A copy of the draw is attached.

Please note that Glen McGough of Hahndorf is unable to play – so the first round men’s match will be a forfeit to Mt. Barker. Mt. Barker will then play Oakbank in the 7.30pm match. As neither club will have played a match prior, both men will be entitled to a two end roll-up.

In the women’s draw, the winner of the first round match between Uraidla and Woodside, will go on to play Meadows in the 7.30pm match. Neither side will be entitled to a roll up in the second match – however as Meadows have not played in the first round, they will entitled to practice on a neutral rink. I anticipate that rink 7 will be made available for practice.

As usual, Mt. Barker will be providing hot food, and full bar facilities from about 5.00pm onwards.
